TTV

TTV (Through The Viewfinder) is a brilliant photographic technique that I have yet to master. It basically involves taking a photograph with one camera through the viewfinder of another. I'm using a Kodak Duaflex, which is a twin lens reflex camera.

Kodak Duaflex

It works a bit like a periscope, with mirrors inside it. When you look into it from above, you get a bubble-icious view of the world. My world has a small reindeer in it. I managed to trap it in the Kodak - Look!

You need to work out the focal range that suits your camera best, then block out the light between the two cameras. I used a mail tube and an old glove for my test shots, but I will soon build myself a contraption of such bewildering beauty that the world will fall at my feet in silent prayer.

What say you, Friendly Joe?

I'll be adding more images as I go along. I hope you like them, or that they make you retch or something.

Special Thanks to Phil and Friendly Joe
